Come spend a night jamming with your favorite bands, cheering on your friends, and
supporting good causes — and best of all, you’ll have the opportunity to play!
Each band will have 3-4 “guest star” spots available for a donation to one of our causes:
ACLU (civil liberties), BAJI (Black immigration), JVP (peace in the mideast), or IDP (immigrant rights).

Admission to the show is free with a donation to one of the following organizations:
As a 503c organization, Jam For Change cannot handle your donations directly. We provide links to the organizations donations page. A screengrab of your donation serves as your receipt.

Guest star spots work by a closed bid system. Pick a band, select one of the songs they’ll cover, and place a bid. We’ll show the current top bid on the signup page. You can change your bid at any time. Bids will close 2 weeks before the jam date. Bands choose which folks they want to play with (ie, high bid may not win).

Yes, guest star pledges are over and above the pledge amounts. There’s so many needs out there, pick a separate nonprofit and donate to that one!

Nope! This is a volunteer-led labor of love. The bands are all giving their time freely, as are the sound crew. The venue is being paid for by a few generous (and anonymous) donors who consider their outlays as a sort of “matching grant” for the the listed organizations.
